Our Mission
USA.Radio and KTXF are organized exclusively for
charitable, educational, and scientific purposes within the
meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986,
or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code (the
“Code”). In addition, the IRS has recognized USA.Radio as a Public
Charity
under Section 509(a)(2). Our purposes are to:
-Operate a noncommercial, educational LPFM radio station in accordance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations
-Through the power of broadcast, provide economic development to the region
-At no cost to community members, provide opportunities to learn broadcast operations and technologies, especially with the goal of enhancing careers and the local economy
-Educate the public in civic literacy and promote values important to our community
-Promote musical literacy and appreciation
-Promote community radio broadcasting initiatives, particularly Low Power FM (LPFM) radio
